From August 1 to 3, 2025, at the Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival Center (Hamlet 1, Tra Mai Commune, Nam Tra My District, Quang Nam Province), the 7th Ngoc Linh Ginseng Festival officially took place with the aspirational theme: “Ngoc Linh – The Era of Rising”.
The three-day festival is not only an occasion to honor the national treasure of the Truong Son mountains and forests, but also a strong affirmation: Ngoc Linh Ginseng – the pride of Vietnam – has entered a new era, going beyond the framework of a local product to become a symbol of national medicinal herbs, aiming to conquer the international market.
From the mountaintop to the journey to the world
Ngoc Linh ginseng – a precious ginseng species that only grows at an altitude of over 1,200m in the Ngoc Linh mountain range, has gone through a long journey to be recognized as a “national treasure” of Vietnam. From a wild plant that the Xe Dang ethnic group preserved and passed down the secret of its use through many generations, Ngoc Linh ginseng has now become a symbol of indigenous medicine, of life, health and sustainable economic value.
With the theme “Ngoc Linh – The Era of Rising”, this year’s festival sends a clear message: Ngoc Linh ginseng not only needs to be preserved, but also needs to be invested in the right direction for sustainable development, affirming its position in the global medicinal industry.
