On the morning of December 15, 2023, Vocational Education Association (HGDNN) in Ho Chi Minh City solemnly organized the Ceremony to celebrate its 20 years of establishment and development (December 15, 2003 – December 15, 2023) at the Auditorium of Thu Duc College of Technology (Thu Duc City – Ho Chi Minh City).
The ceremony had the honor of welcoming delegates from central agencies, including Mr. Pham Anh Thang, Deputy Head of the Office, Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Dinh Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Mr. Phan Chinh Thuc, former Director General of the General Department of Vocational Education and Training; Mr. Dao Trong Do, Head of the Department of Regular Training, General Department of Vocational Education and Training (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs); along with representatives from the Union of Scientific and Technical Associations of Ho Chi Minh City; Department of Vocational Education and Training, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City; Vocational Association and Social Work in Vietnam; Leadership of Thu Duc College of Technology (the organizing unit)…
On the side of the Vocational Education Association in Ho Chi Minh City, NGƯT, ThS Lâm Văn Quản, the President of the Association, was present along with Mr. Nguyen Minh Thanh, Honorary President of the Association (former President of the Association); Ths Hoàn Quốc Long, Vice President of the Association (Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Intermediate School) and Vice Presidents Tran Thanh Hai and Luu Duc Tien, as well as teachers who are members of the Executive Committee (BCH) of the Association during various periods, members of the fourth-term BCH, organizational members, and individuals of the Vocational Education Association in Ho Chi Minh City.
Over 20 years, it has been an incessant journey for activities benefiting society, the community, and the members themselves.
NGƯT, ThS Lâm Văn Quản, the President, shared, “After 20 years of formation and development, the Association has made significant contributions, contributing to improving the quality of vocational education and training in Ho Chi Minh City and the country as a whole.”
Impressive numbers mark the 20-year journey with 4 memorable congresses: from 60 members, there are now over 152 organized members and over 700 individual members participating in association activities. The association has organized 3 charity weddings for couples with disabilities, with a total of 120 couples benefiting, setting a Vietnamese record “for being the unit that organizes collective weddings for the most disabled couples in Vietnam,” along with numerous activities throughout the journey.
The ceremony took place in a solemn yet warm atmosphere, as the 20-year journey brought together not only current officials and teachers but also served as a day of reunion, gratitude, and acknowledgment for members who have actively contributed to the association’s activities throughout the journey.
Mind Connector, although having been a member of HGDNN for just over a year, has been a dedicated companion. In her role as the Director of the Skills Training and Business Connection Center, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thanh Trúc has actively collaborated with the HGDNN Leadership Board, contributing to the development, sharing insights, and planning the implementation of training programs for association members and businesses affiliated with HGDNN.
