“Continuing the story of peace” _ National Day September 2nd this year has a very special meaning. Not only because it is the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (1945–2025), but also because the celebratory atmosphere spreads throughout the country. Flags and flowers are bright, people’s hearts are excited, and the solemn commemorative programs are mixed with pride.
In that flow, we – members of Mind Connector from all over the country, excitedly followed, each little joy, silent happiness and the fluttering, nostalgic emotions, a feeling that has never been so clear “peace is so beautiful”. Most of us were born in peace. We have never heard the sound of bombs, never witnessed a morning of farewell to loved ones going to war, nor have we experienced the hunger and cold of the time when the country was still struggling.
And that is why the emotions on National Day surged even more strongly. Because we know, all the peace today did not come naturally.

A Generation Growing Up in Prosperity – A Generation Born in Peace
We are accustomed to modern conveniences, to technology, to startup dreams and global conversations. We debate strategies, discuss personnel, plan far-reaching goals… But in the moment of commemorating September 2nd, everything suddenly becomes small before the question: If it weren’t for the sacrifices of our fathers, would we have the opportunity to sit here, to live and work in freedom like this?
The answer is only one: No.
It was the previous generation who sacrificed their blood, sweat, and youth to build our independence. Thanks to them, we are allowed to “live a normal life”, and have the right to dream, create, and contribute.

Continuing the story of peace _ Gratitude – not just in memory
Gratitude is not just placing a bouquet of flowers in memory, not just singing the National Anthem in a solemn ceremony. Gratitude, for us, is living responsibly in every smallest choice. When working, we do not do it half-heartedly. When facing difficulties, we do not give up easily. When building an organization, we always put the word “people” first.
Because we understand that a part of our ancestors’ blood and bones continue to flow in those seemingly very normal things.

Mind Connector – extending the spirit of gratitude
Mind Connector was born in peacetime, but we do not allow ourselves to forget history. Every program, every training course, or simply in small workshops, every activity that we carry out, more or less carries within it the spirit of gratitude – because only then can people truly mature, and the community truly connect.
We do not carry guns into battle like our ancestors, but we believe that, with knowledge, with connection, with dedication, we can continue the legacy of previous generations. Because this country not only needs soldiers on the battlefield, but also needs people who know how to preserve and enrich values in peace.

Conclusion _ Gratitude is a journey of life
This year’s 2/9 celebration reminds us of something important: gratitude is not a fleeting promise, but a journey of eternal life. That journey begins with remembering the past, and continues with living fully in the present, to be worthy of the sacrifices that previous generations have entrusted.
We – the people of Mind Connector – are proud to be born in peace, but more than that, we see ourselves as carrying a responsibility: the responsibility to live kindly, to contribute persistently, to be worthy of the two words “independence” that our ancestors left behind.
